Testé sur Kubuntu 8.04 et PC équipé d'une prise série (et non pas via adaptateur série/USB).

Sur Ubuntu 9.10 :
- Retirez "screen "Default Screen".
- La tablette est reconnue mais fonctionne mal.

  * Disposer d'une [[:internet_et_reseaux|connexion à Internet]] configurée et activée ;



===== Installation du pilote =====

Installez les 2 paquets suivants :"wacom-tools" et "xserver-xorg-input-wacom"

== Edition du fichier xorg.conf ==
1) On fait une copie de sécurité :

2) On edite le fichier :
Soit sous Gnome :
<code>gksudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf</code>
Soit sous KDE :
<code>kdesudo kate /etc/X11/xorg.conf</code>

== Modification du fichier xorg.conf ==
1) Section ServerLayout.
Trouvez la section "ServerLayout" :

La tablette UD II fonctionne aussi avec un adaptateur série/USB, par exemple avec le TRENDNET TU-S9 (ID 067b:2303 Prolific Technology, Inc. PL2303 Serial Port). La seule différence est le remplacement de "/dev/ttyS0" par "/dev/ttyUSB0". (SEG)
